GRWM - Clothes Swap (04butchclub)
Event Date

Kia ora team!

Need a new formal wardrobe?

Outgrown your usual rotation of clothes?

Wanna change your style up a bit?

This is your chance to be part of a masc-focused clothes swap and almost straight away get it fitted by a professional tailor - all at the same event! Less hassle, more confidence.

What to expect on the day:

  • please bring formal clothing such as suits, waistcoats, belts, pants, shoes, vests, or any other clothing you think mascs would absolutely be stoked in.

  • please drop off the clothes between 9am to 10am at Thistle Hall so we can have that all ready for you when the doors open at 10am.

  • this section of the event will not be open to people who don't have a ticket/RSVP'd.

  • there will be changing rooms and mirrors set up for you to try on clothing.

  • you have 3 hours to browse before this area is opened up to the public at 1pm.

  • there'll be couches in the middle of the venue for you to chill out if you need to take a break.

Some additional notes:

  • No TERFs, no SWERFs.

  • This is a safe space to explore and grow your masc identity. You can bring a support person with you (provided you also get them a ticket for the head count).

  • Due to limited spacing constraints, we ask that you please let us know if plans change and you are unable to make it to the event anymore.

  • The whole GRWM event is free. There will be a chance to give koha at the door to help cover hall and tailor fees. Any profits made will go towards making more events like these.

  • It's preferred that you bring formal clothing. However, in special circumstances such as for people who are at the start of their masc-identity journey and don't have a collection yet, you can bring non-formal clothing ☺️
