To enable us to be accessible to the community, we do not hold
spaces for groups or individuals unless they are confirmed. We do not do
pencil bookings - all bookings must be confirmed by supplying a bond cheque
and a signed contract. Only once the contract and bond have been received
will you be booked and confirmed in our system.
Upstairs Hall
The recently refurbished upstairs area caters for up to 120 people and includes
access to a refurbished kitchen and downstairs toilets. Noise restrictions
require any activities to cease before midnight, and the hall to be vacated
by 1.30am. Unfortunately, there is currently no disabled access to the upstairs
hall.

Gallery Exhibition Space
Thistle Hall Community Gallery open to anyone in the community to exhibit
their work , and is therefore very popular. We have an email list that you
can join to make bookings and find out about cancellations in our gallery
space. Please click here

From 2008 all hire periods will run from Monday to Sunday inclusive. You
must pack in and out within these days. When you open your show is up to
you, but we suggest Monday or Tuesday.
The standard hire rates for shows from January 2008 are:
$100 Bond (refundable) to be paid on booking your show;
$160 for 7 days gallery hire - to be paid when you receive a key to the
space; and
10% commission on sales - paid no later than two weeks after your show ends.
The gallery is to staffed by the hirer who takes care of all sales, promotions,
openings and opening hours.

Downstairs Meeting Room
The meeting room can accomodate up to 30 people and includes access to a
kitchen and toilet facilities.
