17 - 23 December

In keeping with the Thistle Hall's mission statement, the Board aims to provide a varied exhibition programme that: a. reflects and stimulates the local community; and b. provides exhibiting opportunities for emerging and established artists.

Brief applications are invited from individual artists and groups six months in advance of the proposed exhibition, and selection is done for one month at a time, which generally means four exhibitions of one week.

In selecting exhibitions for each month, the Board will strive to combine a mix of media, content, group and individual shows, cultures (in the broadest sense of the word), experienced and new exhibitors etc, based on the exhibition applications that are received. If there are a number of exhibition proposals at one time, that seem similar in many of the above ways, these applications will be placed in a hat and one will be randomly selected.

All hire periods run from Monday to Sunday inclusive - you must pack in and out within these days. When you open your show is up to you, but we suggest Monday or Tuesday. 

The gallery is to be staffed by the hirer who takes care of all sales, promotions, openings and opening hours.
